Beth acts for both landlords and tenants in relation to statutory and voluntary lease extensions, collective enfranchisement, right to manage, right of first refusal and licence for alterations.

She specialises in the Leasehold Enfranchisement and Lease Extensions under the Leasehold Reform, Housing and Urban Development Act 1993 and Landlord and Tenant work under the Landlord and Tenant Act 1985.

Beth, who has a first class degree, also assists Managing Partner Chris Sarsfield with development work.

Meaby & Co negotiated an extension to my leasehold for a period of 99 years. This proved to be a challenging task which involved statutory notices, two housing tribunal applications and an application to the County Court.Meaby provided excellent legal services. My partner and I want to thank Varsha for all of her support throughout the process of purchasing our property in London. She was excellent! Varsha was quick to respond, very thorough and easy to talk to. The purchase was complete in a relatively short period of time and we could see by the email communication with the sellers' solicitor (and comparing the speed at which issues were addressed) that it was Varsha that facilitated this with her responsiveness and professionalism.
