Ryan is one of our partners, specialising in litigation and Higher Court advocacy.

Ryan joined us in 2024 after honing his skills working across an array of criminal solicitor firms.

This experience makes him a fountain of knowledge for any civil and criminal disputes.

He has a broad and extensive litigation experience advising on commercial, construction and intellectual property disputes alongside corporate and criminal investigations.

Ryan regularly advises commercial landlords, developers, residential landlords, managing agents and leaseholders on complex and high-value property disputes.

His previous background in regulatory and criminal matters provides a unique perspective when advising on regulatory obligations in a property context.

While Ryan enjoys all aspects of his job, he takes a particular interest in commercial litigation.

• Application for vesting order for a leasehold property held bona vacantia.
• Claim for rectification of a TR1 following solicitor negligence.
• Acting for Defendant in beneficial ownership dispute relating to central London property valued in excess of £3 million.
• Advising on breach of long lease in respect of a rooftop development.
• Acting for Landlord opposing relief from forfeiture for non-payment of service charges and insurance rent.
• Defending a claim for noise nuisance against a large restaurant in the Cotswolds.
• Advising Responsible Person in respect of failure to comply with a statutory improvement notice.
• Advising a leaseholder on a Right to Light claim against the developer of the US Embassy in London.
• Unfair relationship claim against the Bank of Scotland pursuant to section 140B of the Consumer Credit Act 1974 regarding a shared appreciation mortgage.
• Representing a Pilot as solicitor and advocate facing prosecution for endangering an aircraft.
