Corporate social responsibility

CSR is at the heart of our values as an organisation and features as part of all our business strategic objectives.

As an employer with multiple offices across the London & the South of England, we believe it’s our responsibility to support the local communities we serve. We’re keen to use our strengths in a way that benefits the people around us, as well as the wider environment. We work as a firm and as individuals to do what’s right – and make a positive difference.

Fundraising

We support our people in all their charitable activities and fundraising initiatives and encourage all colleagues working across various teams and offices to support each other.

Partners and staff regularly take part in the annual London Legal Walk which is the largest annual fundraising event in the UK legal calendar, supporting over 100 free legal advice charities. More than 15,000 participants from law firms, chambers, courts, universities and advice agencies join each year to raise funds for access to justice

Environmental Responsibility

Alongside our commitment to people and communities, we are dedicated to reducing the environmental impact of our operations and promoting sustainable business practices wherever possible.

Our environmental initiatives include:

  • Installing energy-efficient lighting systems across our offices.
  • Reducing paper consumption through digital working practices and electronic client communications.
  • Encouraging double-sided printing where printing is necessary.
  • Recycling paper and other office materials to minimise waste and reduce carbon emissions.
  • Continually reviewing our operations to identify opportunities for further environmental improvements.

We are also mindful of the environmental and social impact of our suppliers. For example, we source bottled water from suppliers who donate a percentage of their profits to support clean water and community projects in Africa, helping to improve access to safe drinking water and support sustainable development in local communities.
