Julie is our practice director, working closely with our managing partners Chris Sarsfield and Chris Waters.
Julie has an impressive 30 years of experience within the legal sector, having built her career around helping firms run smarter and adapt with confidence.
She joined us in 2026, bringing an expanse of knowledge from leading firm-wide initiatives to managing IT compliance.
She is responsible for providing strategic and operational leadership across the firm, working closely with our partners to drive growth, ensure regulatory compliance and deliver efficient, high-performing business operations.
Her role includes supporting partners with long-term strategy planning and execution, marketing, business development and the firm’s HR, recruitment and employee professional development.
She ensures that the right structures and systems are in place so that Meaby & Co can deliver at its fullest possible capacity.
Her areas of expertise include:
- Operational leadership and day-to-day management
- Supporting partners with strategy execution and long-term planning
- Financial oversight, including budgeting, forecasting and reporting
- HR, recruitment and team development
- Regulatory compliance, including SRA and COFA responsibilities
- Marketing, business development and growth strategy
