It is an unfortunate fact of life that when couples separate and divorce they are not always honest with each other about what they own or the true value of their assets.

We have close links with a number of investigators (many of whom were previously police officers) who are able to assist us to trace assets both in this country and abroad.

Sometimes a detailed analysis of the bank accounts of an individual is required to find out whether they have been secreting or deliberately depleting their funds. On other occasions, it may be necessary to look at the accounts of a business to determine whether there has been an attempt to manage the business in a way which would lead to the business being undervalued for the purpose of the proceedings. We never accept figures at face value and are able to call upon the expertise of a number of forensic accountants to assist us with these investigations.
