The City of London Law Society has warned that government proposals to identify tax avoidance schemes will create a ‘significant burden on business’. The society’s revenue law committee was responding to HM Revenue & Customs’ consultation, ‘Strengthening the Tax Avoidance Disclosure Regimes’.
